Fas is a multi-skilled Project/Programme Manager who offers both business & technical skills that can be utilised through various stages of a project. He can fit into various contract and interim roles such as Project/Programme Manager, Change Manager, Stakeholder & Communications Manager, Events Manager, Project/Programme Support Consultant, and IS/IT/ICT Consultant/Strategist.
Fas is Prince2 qualified and also uses other techniques and frameworks for project, programme and change management including MSP (Managing Successful Programmes), MoR (Management of Risk), and ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library).
Fas’s recent experience includes project managing part of a local government Shared Services initiative, a large legislative change programme for UK’s biggest water company and also includes local govt multi-agency partnerships involving Social Care, Health, Housing, Education, Police and Voluntary Sector. He has also directly worked for and managed Social Care, Education, Environment, and Transport initiatives.
Fas’s local government clients include Oxfordshire and Wiltshire County Councils, London Boroughs of Kensington & Chelsea, Lambeth and Haringey, and Reading Borough Council.
Prior to this, his portfolio includes Royal Mail and Non Departmental Public Bodies (NDPB’s) such as the Best Value Inspection Service (BVIS) which is part of the Audit Commission. In between assignments Fas dedicates some of his time for his own company GlobalSoft UK a Professional, IT Services, Applications Development & Solutions Provider. He has managed a number of client facing projects for GlobalSoft UK. In the earlier part of his career Fas worked within the Finance/Banking sector.
